This guide is intended to be a living document. If you notice something is missing, click here to let us know.

The Latin American Voices LibGuide is intended to help interested readers locate and access works in our library collection that were written by Latin American and Latinx authors. These recommendations are not the only works by Latin American authors in the library collection, and we encourage you to continue your search beyond these lists if you are interested. If you would like to recommend additional books be featured on this page, please fill out the form linked through the image to the left.

This guide was created to compliment a Día de los Muertos exhibit at Beeghly Library and LASO's ofrenda in the fall of 2021. Some elements of this guide are tied directly to that project, while other elements have been added to provide additional information for the interested reader.

Yaire Nuñez and Lucero Figueroa, students at Juniata College, created the lists and descriptions of the books on this page. They, with other student workers at the library, also worked to created the exhibit display in the library.
